Salesforce's Agentforce platform represents the most credible enterprise AI agent monetization story in software. Unlike competitors selling API credits, Salesforce embeds autonomous agents into its existing CRM workflows — sales, service, marketing — and prices them per conversation. This usage-based AI overlay on top of a subscription core gives Salesforce a compounding revenue model that consensus has not fully modeled.
